How has your journey of re-parenting been going?
Have you been able to heal some of that woundedness?
Did you get a glimpse or feel into the excitement of your inner magic?!?
If you’re ready for an even deeper step, this is just for you.
Today we’re exploring how to work with the Divine Mother and bringing that woundedness to the Mother of all mothers, to the essence of the Goddess that dwells within.
I’ve written about this before and will share it again. Why? Because this is such a powerful way for us to heal.
The invitation here – for ALL of us- is to allow ourselves to be loved and re-parented by the aspect of God that is the divine feminine. Think: Mother Mary, Quan Yin, Tara, Laxmi, Parvati, Yemoja, or Nana Buluku to name just a few.
You could also use the Mother Mary oracle cards if you have them. Here’s a link to those.
In truth, you don’t need visual imagery. Personally, I find it helpful. It’s a good anchor for me and a way for me to envision the sacred Mother.
If that idea doesn’t resonate, you could use an aspect of nature: the ocean, a tree, a flowering bush. Perhaps a piece of music or a particular sound might resonate with you more. Even a specific feeling or sensation.
The idea here is to have a focal point, in whatever form feels optimal to you.
Choose something.
If it is an image of a female, you can envision being in her presence. Allow yourself to climb onto her lap as if you were a child, or take her hand and have her lead you into her sacred garden.
If you chose an aspect of nature, music or a sound, or a sensation, allow yourself to feel surrounded by this. Feel it lovingly envelope you, hold you.
Allow yourself to feel cared for and genuinely loved.
After we brought our painting of the Black Madonna, the Virgin of Guadalupe home in 2021, this is exactly the process I experienced. She kept inviting me to sit on her lap. After a time, she would extend her hand out to me and invite me into her garden – which felt like the heart of God- a space of abundance where everyone I loved existed.
Her invitation did require a relinquishment or a surrender on my part. To allow myself to be loved by the Mother.
And once I was able to do that, let me tell you, it was magnificent.
So use this.
Decide what’s going to be your anchor – an image, aspect of nature, sound or feeling.
Commit to being with the presence INSIDE of this.
Let it surround you, hold you, and love you.
Then, let me know how it goes.
YOU ARE SO LOVED!
