Here it is: Wisdom of the Wrathful Person
This one is about anger.
And just like all of the rest of the veils of the ego, there are ways anger (and lust, and gluttony and slothfulness…) can be useful, can be used to right wrongs, to fuel action, to face injustices.
That’s when we use anger in a pro-active, loving way.
Being on this journey can definitely feel challenging and I am SO appreciative that you are here willing to keep opening to the light and the love that is the essence of you.

Today we’re diving into the realm of the flesh (whatever that means) and the foolish wisdom of the flesh. Here goes…
How was your exploration into darkness and desire? Illuminating? I hope so.
As Robert Holden often says, “emotional honesty boosts spiritual clarity.”
The hardest and perhaps best way we can be emotionally honest is when we’re willing to explore aspects of our shadow. And these ego veils can certainly shed light.
The next two that we’ll explore are: ignorance and zeal for death.

So how can you deepen into that ever-abiding love?
One way is to understand how your ego takes you away from experiencing that love which is your true and essential nature.
This is why I wanted to devote the next few weeks to exploring the ways we can consciously and unconsciously get taken out. Specifically, by diving into the seven (I call them veils) of the ego, that Meggan Watterson outlines in her book, Mary Magdalene Revealed.
Lately I’ve been doing some reflecting. It naturally occurred as a follow up from all the visioning we’ve been doing lately.
The inventory I’ve been conducting is about examining my decisions more closely and looking at my underlying motivations.
In other words, did I make a significant decision because I was adhering to a set of unconscious rules passed down from family or society? Or because it was truly something I felt called to do for my own self growth? Take a moment to look back at your life and ask yourself the same questions.
It turns out we make loads of decisions based on things like: pleasing others, fulfilling expectations, because it’s the "right" thing to do, or it’s what we’re “supposed” to do.
